Alright lets close out this liquid week with a CHILLER HEATER.

Unlike everything else we’ve sent the past couple of days, this one is PURE energy.

This is from Astute Austrian duo Air K and Cephei.

Now look, despite its …questionable output of artists, Austria has THE BEST Drum & Bass artists, and that’s not even up for debate.

Unfortunately, Austrians aren't the most consistent with their release schedules.

But that doesn’t matter because this is a MASTERPIECE that stands the tides of time.

It’s one of those songs where everything is harmonious and ecstatic.

The drops are filled with clean synths, energetic chords, and sounds that fade in and out.

Everything about this song is immaculate. The sound design, the composition, the way it takes you on a hypnotic journey.

You wouldn't believe it's a liquid song, but by the law of the “simple kick-snare foundation,” it is.

I don’t make the rules!

But if I did this would be a song you HAVE to listen to if you enjoy drum & bass in general.

This whole EP is also fantastic. Don’t rob yourself of this amazing experience.

💭 Quick Drivel

I think I finally found something worse than moving apartments/homes.

MOVING JOB OFFICES.

Now look, I am no stranger to nightmare-moving stories.

3 years ago, our moving company canceled on us on moving day. Since it was the last day of the lease, we had to rent a truck and move everything out ourselves.

All within 8 hours.

A story for another day!

But today was even more hellish than that.

Maybe because we were moving $100,000 machines instead of furniture, lol.

The whole thing was tense. It was like everyone was going through their own variation of hell.

Bosses were crashing out. Moving certain machines required 10+ years of engineering experience, and we maybe had 2 years (all together). It’s honestly a miracle we made it AT ALL.

Could also be the fact WE GOT NO BREAKS DURING THE WHOLE THING.

Or maybe that I’m still sick (but the bills don’t stop, so neither can I).

In any case, there’s still some stuff to move, and tomorrow is the last day of the old office lease, so the story ain’t done yet.

I do not wish this on my worst enemy.

Maybe this is divine punishment for making fun of Riddim for all these years.

…which is totally acceptable. That genre sucks lmao.

Anyway, I gotta sleep. My commute to work just went from 10 minutes to 40 minutes (even using the express lanes).

P.S. Despite all the “complaints,” it’s been a very enlightening experience!

It’s truly impressive to see people figure out how to load and unload a 2-tonne bending machine on a truck using nothing but forklift maneuvers. Forklift-certified drivers are the alpha species.
