Aftermath.

Casualties: ???

The aftermath of the “weird emails” is always hilarious to watch.

There’s 3 types of people:

  1. The ones leaving the dumpster in droves

  2. The confused ones (usually newcomers)

  3. Loyal Divers who commit to the bit and listen to the song, which, in most cases, is so good it needs a special email. (Like yesterday)

But it’s as they say: If you can’t handle me at my freak, you don’t deserve at my normal. (or something like that)

Everything is so boring and serious now it’s no wonder people are spacing out.

Now being honest, many of these jokes and bits are childish, but they’re better than another “Ah yes, this song sounds like my bathroom experience after eating taco bell’s new dorito flavor shells” type of email.

In any case, if you’re still here - Hold on because it’s only going to get better.

After another sleep-deprived revelation from the angel in my delusions, I’ve found a path forward with The Mission.

The mission to rework the electronic music industry.

For too long, artists' only options have been to become social media dance monkeys or spend copious amounts of money on ads.

Not that there’s nothing wrong in that, it’s a reliable way to find people.

The problem is that artists are terrible marketers, and it’s not their fault. They want to make music, not dance around trying to get listeners.

So how do you come into play?

Well, listeners like you and me have the power with our attention and support.

So the mission is simple: Find great, genuine artists and help them build the career of their dreams while we get spoiled with good fkn music.

Of course, The Dumpster is still a “small project” by most definitions, but I’m not waiting for the magic wand to make it grow. The mission is a go and it starts today.

So my question to you is: Do you know any artist that needs help with their marketing?

If you do, send them this email. I’m looking to help 5 artists build their audience through a more reliable and durable way than social media algorithms.

It’ll be 1-1 intensive support, and by the end of it, they’ll have an asset they can use to conquer today’s music landscape.

It doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 1,000,000 listeners, this is something virtually every artist should have.

On to the meat…

Today’s song is the inspiration that sets the fire. It is painful to see artists make fantastic songs and hinder that talent with terrible marketing (with love).

This is a gorgeous song from an artist I’ve wanted to mention for a long time but keep pushing it off.

Archangel.

The amount of quality output is INSANE for an artist like this. He’s been able to keep his Liquid DnB fresh even while releasing 3 eps a YEAR. (Most people can’t even do 2 good releases in a row)

This song has everything you need from a good liquid song: Clean snares, gorgeous piano melody, deep bass, and a composition so smooth it melts in your ears.

This is a must-list for a nice laid-back afternoon. I can’t recommend it enough. Archangel is an absolute must watch, he’s headed for great things.

Njoy.

Genre: Liquid Gold D&B

Always Forward
