Todays plan was to finish the Sunday Single.
So I open the post in the writing software, then open Quobuz to play the song in the background.
(Yes these are written with the mf song in the background. No other way to do it.)
Except when I open Qobuz an error message pops up.
“Your subscription has expired. Please upgrade to keep listening more than 30 seconds.”
Ah. Crap.
It’s already been a month?
Crazy to think that I got into the Sound Addiction last month.
So I made a whole new account (gotta get those free trials) and signed up for the student pricing.
Normally that’s enough to finish the problem and get back to writing.
Not for your fellow crackhead Hz. A simple renewal ain't enough.
No sir.
The tolerance has grown strong. No longer is a simple beginner DAC enough.
It's time to increase the dosage.
And so I spent THE ENTIRE day upgrading ALL the gear.
(Except the headphones. I ain’t balling like that yet and Black Friday aint that good on those)
Lord bless Jeff Bezos and his 30 day return windows.
I just came back from returning all the old gear.
And well. It’s already kinda late, and I no longer have any gear to drive the expensive headphones.
So uh, here's the last song I played on the iFi Hip DAC 3. It's a fantastic piece of hardware that carried me through this first month.
EXCEPT I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND IT.
Apparently it was made for jazz and rock in mind.
That was fully solidified after testing our today's song.
Yeah yeah. Its jazz house. Give me a break. I don't know jazz like that.
Let me tell you tho. Electronic music listeners have it tough in the audiophile world.
Its insanely hard to find gear that isn't designed for rock, jazz or classical.
Hell, not even my good friend Perplexity could find more than 5 options for headphones and 3 for DACs.
There does seem to be a demand for someone who reviews audiophile headphones for this genre.
So maybe this is the signal to go all in?
Yeah.
Once the dumpster is self sufficient tho. Ts ain't affordable.
With that said, lets get to the song.
It seems Jazz infused music is the next big thing.
Fast pianos combined with groovy trumpets will be the roar next year.
I ain’t lying when saying that 2026 will be great nostalgifiction.
Of course, this song is from 2023. That doesn’t mean it aint true tho. I actually expect Berlioz to make a return next year.
Anyway this song has everyting you want in a relaxing monday song.
Smooth pianos.
Relaxing trumpets.
A tempo that makes you want to dance while staying relaxed
It truly is a magical song. And you don’t need expensive gear to hear it in its full glory.
Njoy.
Genre: Something relaxing yet energizing. Very odd tbh
Always going all or nothing Forward
Hz
P.S. Something else that took some time was transfering all the digital collection from Sloptify over to Lossless Platforms. Here’s what that is looking like.

Qobuz pls add more electronic.
Yeah. For all the crap people give Sloptify, it has the biggest and most thorough electronic music collection aside from YouTube. You figure that one out.
Anyway. Big things are coming down the pipeline. December is going to be a fun month.
