It's May 2021.
COVID is at peak and there's a general uneasy feeling worldwide. (2 weeks amirite)
It was around 2am when it started playing on a mix to help with “focus” (avoid doing homework)
It instantly took me into a state of trance from the first listen.
The melody triggered a mix of nostalgia and inspiration.
It was the perfect song for the moment. Aware of the lost years yet hopeful for the future after.
The song itself is masterfully crafted.
Starting with the melody. I know I know, I'm always going off on “MeLoDy.”
This one is fully justified from how ADDICTING it is.
I've never heard something that triggers both nostalgia and a desire to move at the same time.
The bass is immaculate as well, it's clean, sounds great AND feels great.
The lyrics actually ADD to the song. Very rare. They also fully encapsulate a fellow feeling.
The whole thing start to finish is simply magical. There are no other words to describe it.
This is my full textbook definition of Audible Gold. Something you can play over and over and still find something new.
This is the one song I genuinely you recommended listen, you can ignore everything after.
