Caius - In The Sun

Danish Demon Caius makes some of the grooviest tracks in the game.

He’s a lot more “vocal sample” heavy than others, but his use of rhythm and instruments is unmatched.

From start to finish this song will have you hooked.

Those guitar riffs are addictive and will have you looping the song so you can hear them over and over again.

And you’ll be quick to loop it since the song is so short it feels like a treat you try once and kill the whole box shortly after.

Definitely a “summer and fun sunny day” type of track.

💭 Quick Drivel

5am again.

In order to get the most out of the day I had to catch the first train.

It also a day where I’d be Ubermaxxing to see just how affordable an quick it is.

Lets get this journey started ey?

Nah this wasn’t like the movie (which I’ve never seen. Whenever I tell ANYONE that I went to busan they go “oh have you seen Train to Busan? It’s such a great movie!”)

The ride was actually pretty good!

I booked a first-class ticket to see the difference.

The main things were free bottled water, a welcome pack with some snacks, and what felt like a 1% more comfortable seat.

The price wasn’t much different. I think maybe $20 more than the regular ticket?

Idk what it’s now but it was worth the experience.

After a 2-hour ride I made it to Busan.

This is the most colorful place I’ve seen in all of Korea so far.

The place itself feels like a maze where every staircase led somewhere new.

There’s a lot of graffity and wall art everywhere which adds to the experience.

It seems that I got there too early es everything was closed so after exploring it a bit more I relocated to the next location.

Say it with me:

This was a smaller and simpler tower than most towers thus far.

You can traverse the whole thing in 5 minutes lol.

They must have noticed, because their solution was to add a “spotting game” where you had to find these diamonds around the tower.

You got a prize at the end which you had to go claim at the store.

Overall very fun!

…wait, did I fall for ANOTHER tourist trap?

The view was a lot better and gave some ideas on where to go next.

It’s a fun tower! I highly recommend it.

This spot looked interesting from the tower, so I went check it out

I didn't expect the market to be so huge but there were all sorts of sea critters

Anything you wanted you could buy.

Fish (duh).

Shark.

Swordfish.

Octopus.

Squid.

And the likes.

This made me fiendishly hungry, so I went try out the legendary Busan fishcakes right from the source.

This was FANTASTIC.

I ate like 15 of these (while Baby Shark played on the restaurant speakers) and felt very ill afterward.

Worthwhile experience!

This one was by the coast and DAMN is it good.

It was a peaceful experience

Definitely one of those “Instagram picture” spots, but worth going out of the way for just to see this sight and get a hint of fresh air.

This was called the most beautiful temple in Korea, and I agree

It's on the coast, which means it comes with a view.

Definitely the best temple I’ve been to in Korea.

It’s like everything in Busan is miles better than anything I’ve seen in Seoul, lol.

I didn’t get to stay here long, as I had to go to the next spot before sunset.

I once again failed to make it by sunset and after getting lost for a good 10 minutes finding the entrance.

As such, I got there last minute, and the sunset was already gone.

This was a much bigger tower but still worth the visit.

Definitely an amazing tower. It has a lot of side activities like a sand room for pictures…

A restaurant…

An exposition room…

A store…

And a lot of random spots where you can take “instagram worthy” pictures.

Its one of those that I’d say looks better during the day since the entire west side view of the tower was pitch black since that’s the ocean view.

Regardless, after spending a couple of hours there, it was time to head back before the scheduled train left.

I had this amazing conversation with the driver who confirmed that Busan was much better than Seoul.

Everything from the culture, the friendliness, and how much more vibrant everything was.

And honestly? I fully agree.

Everything I saw today was mindblowing and beautiful.

It stands as a city of its own, and it’s NOTHING like Seoul.

Highly recommended to any first-time Korea visitor to go here first as opposed to Seoul.

I met a group of friends from Chongqing who recommended some spots and warned me about the heat.

We talked for the entire ride back (using Google Translate, of course), and it was good to get some insider info.

We exchanged contacts and went our separate ways.

Since I got there at 12am, I ended up getting another Uber home.

Now here’s the craziest part of this entire day.

I used around 12 Ubers to get everywhere.

Every single ride was longer than 20 minutes.

Hell, the one from the Busan x the sky to the station was an hour long.

So how much did it all cost?

$60.

Yeah. This is honestly not the most effective way to travel (since there’s a lot of traffic and some waits were 10+ minutes) but MAN is it affordable.

Highly recommended for intense trips!

Either way, the point still stands,

BUSAN IS THE BEST KOREAN CITY.

No other city compares to the beauty and fun you can have in Busan.

Seoul is huge and, like every capital city, just feels disconnected from the rest of the country.

At least that’s my opinion thus far.
