I am sitting here watching a soulless movie.
The acting is bad, the audio is terrible and the dialog makes me want to rip my ears out.
This the worst thing I've ever seen (and I don't watch movies)
Worst of all, it reminds me of soulless songs.
Those made by people who think music is easy money. Or even those that are just released to stay relevant.
Unfortunately, with the rise of AI it's a trend that's only going to keep growing.
Soulless songs will very soon start flooding the timeline.
This will only help make those songs with actual passion rise higher though.
Once the onslaught of slop hits people will realize that their attention is better spent on artists that care.
Artists like Camo & Krooked who have been in the game for almost 20 years.
Most songs they release result in the drum and bass genre to evolve.
They have such an intense focus on sound design and composition that every song sounds clean and unique.
There's more traits that make a song with soul and it's a topic I'll talk more about in the future but for now it's a good starting point.
