Today I woke up 5 hours late for work.
Frantically I got ready.
I check my phone to see if there’s any missed calls.
Nothing. She must be waiting until I get there to make official.
As I’m leaving the house I can only imagine the stern talk from my boss the moment I get there.
“Look. You first spend ALL shift on that stupid computer,typing away like a monkey. THEN you REFUSE to call out your coworkers when they do dumb things. NOW you’re 5 hours late without notice? Get out of here.”
So I run down the stairs…
Forget my car keys…
Run back up the stairs, now anrgy and frustrated over losing another 10 minutes….
SPRINT down the stairs, almost falling on my head…
And its only until I get in my car that I remember.
I asked for the whole week off...
Crap.
It may sound cool and all, but I completely forgot how to exist, and now I don't even know what day it is.
Whatever structure was built in these couple of months completely went out the window today.
But with this increase in time I've worked on a couple things on The Dumpster, (one of which you'll get today and one of which you'll get soon.)
One of them was to check the song submission bin and find some gems you'll be hearing in these couple of days.
So let's open up day 17 of the Advent Dumpsterdar!

Congratulations on the bravery for your submission! Most artists are too afraid which is a shame because music is something to be shared.
Now normally electropop isn't my vibe. But there's something charming about this song.
The synths are really clean and simple which is more than can be said for most electropop songs lol.
The vocals are catchy and I found myself singing it throughout the day.
Even more, this song is PERFECT for the holidays.
As Chris Roe said himself:
“‘Love You Love You Love You’ A song about: one sided love (like a parent with a wayward son or daughter) is one thing, but when love is willingly reciprocated, that’s another thing altogether that makes your heart sing!”
And I agree. This is the season to give an effort to loving others and returning the favor. Even if it’s just for the season. You never know what effect it can have in others.
