Today’s artist was a tough pick…

I could have gone with the obvious choice (as they changed the landscape of electronic music), but I decided to go with an artist that impacted me a lot more.

Today’s winner is…

i_o

Now, it was a tough choice between picking i_o and our mystery artist (you’ll crucify me if I tell you who it is).

However, i_o had a bigger impact on me, and his music remains in my rotation quite heavily.

i_o was an absolute magician.

And I mean,

The melodies he created in his prog house tracks and techno tracks were. absolute peak.

i_o, you were gone WAY too soon. I can only imagine the absolute gold you would have continued to produce were you still around to this day.

I, as long as your many other fans (Hz included) will continue to listen to your music until our ears no longer function.
