Upon my graduation, I was gifted by Hz (among other things) a book titled “Tiny Habits.”

It aims to help you reform your life by creating new habits and putting systems in place that will help you create new ones easier and identify triggers for old ones so that you can shed those old habits.

In it, it briefly talks about how, in order to create a new habit, the ease of access in order to create said habit must be there, and so must the motivation to perform said action. These two play nicely together, as the less easy it is, the more motivation you need, and the less motivation you have, the easier it needs to be.

I’m not great at explaining this (yet, as one of the goals of the book is to be able to explain this easily), but I hope you get the gist.

Now, what might creating new habits look like?

Well, one example is to say “it is going to be a good day” as soon as your feet hit the floor after waking up.

“Hyperoxia, what are some new habits you are trying to create?” you might ask.

Well, every time I wake up, as soon as my feet hit the ground, I open up rainbet and gamble (burn) $50.

The motivation to make money is high, and the ease of access to bet it all on black and say “may the winds guide my hand,” is high.

I am now broke.

Only joking.

But in all seriousness, I’m still reading, and still trying to figure out what are some new habits I’d genuinely like to create.

The saying “it is going to be a good day” when my feet touch the floor after waking up is a good start though.

Anyways, on to todays song.

Genre: Apple Music says this is Techno, but I think we all know that it’s not Techno.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

-Hyperoxia

(P.S. Betting the entirety of Hz’s Asia trip 2027 fund on RED and screaming “MAY THE WINDS GUIDE MY HAND” at the dealer before losing it all.)
