Artist Lore
Danger is an all time favorite. Yet another French Freak who is amazing at music.
He has an amazing world with unique sounds and addictive, euphoric melodies. There’s also this thing he does of naming his songs after the time he finishes them at.
Even further he is one of the best electro producers today even though he started in 2007.
His releases are rare which make them the more special. He's recently taken to making soundtracks for video games and WOW, everything he produces is gold.
This was the 2nd best album of 2020. Even if you don't like videogames it's a must listen.
The Great
At the time this was something new for Danger.
Up to that point all his previous songs were dark and gloomy electro bangers.
This one is full of postive emotions and lighter sounds.
If his previous songs sounded like a John Wick scene, this one sounds like finding fulfillment in a field.
The starting melody is addicting, it hooks you in right away and throws you into a new world.
Breaking it further: the drums are clean, the chorus in the back give it a feeling of awe.
This is also one of the few songs with two different melodies, one from the background noises and one from the main chorus. Each is independent but comes together to make something beautiful.
And man, that second drop is TOO GOOD. Danger is a master of second drops, every one of his songs has this gorgeous "all out" vibe that make it amazing.
The one gripe with it.
No. This is as good as it gets. The melody, the sounds, the energy is ON POINT.
Wrappin it up
As I’ve always said
Similar to it
19:02 Kusa Makura is my favorite from the album. The way it speeds up halfway is my favorite kind of drug.
I absolutely believe you have to listen to this album in full. It's too good to be a video game OST.
