Look this is one of those paradox songs.

You think it’s sad but it makes you want to dance.

But as you dance you realize that it in fact has a sad piano so you stop for a moment to ponder upon it.

Then you realize that the rest of the beat is actually energetic and upbeat.

And sad pianos do what pianos do and make you sad again.

Then the flute begins to play and you realize “damn I can actually use this to get up and do something with my life”.

Then the flute joins the sad piano gang and you realize you got baited and go back to bumming out on the couch/bed.

And so on and so forth.

This is honestly a really fun song. I can’t recommend it enough.

Cracked Canadian Daphni (Caribou) did a fantastic job with this track.

Experimental electronic doesn’t get better than this.
