Delayed

A couple of hours ago, my phone made a horrible noise (notification)

It was from the airline about today’s flight.

“The first flight to Toronto is delayed by 50 minutes, sorry, lol”
(Or something like that.)

So now we’re sitting in the waiting area.

In front of me is a miniature brown dachshund falling asleep in its owner’s arms.

There are people riding bikes in the airport. They almost ran someone over.

And news just flashed about a flood of green liquid in some part of the same Miami airport.

So overall, an exciting -and yet normal for Florida- experience so far.

What’s interesting is how different things seem when you stop for a second and look around you. You see many faces, events, and random slices of life you would otherwise miss.

So while we may have to wait a couple of more minutes…

It gives me time for last-minute music download preparations (it is a 37-hour flight after all, lol)

Today’s song gives a general idea of the vibe: exciting, unreal, and overall a good time.
