I’m gonna come at you with a crazy claim.
There is no such thing as “The One”
At least not in the Hollywood sense.
There’s never been such an intense race for perfection in everything.
The perfect career…
The perfect relationship…
The perfect day…
Well, that’s not real.
And even though we all like to nod our heads and say “oh yes so true” you and I will close this email and go back to the good old ways™.
The good news for you is that I’ve found a solution.
It’s called “The Right.”
As simple as it sounds, the Right is that perfect middle between “Bare minimum” and “perfection”
Not as sloppy as going for the bare min and not as unrealistic as perfection.
Of course, you build it by knowing what you want.
And then being delusionally realistic with it.
Find your non negotiables and the things you can compromise on and you’ll find “The Right.”
I mean just check out the Advent Dumpsterdar…

It’s not perfectly designed but it’s not something that is “bare minimum” (even though it looks like that it took a good 5 hours to design.)
And that’s a philosophy I’m slowly but surely implementing more.
