Yes, as Hyperoxia said yesterday, the world is on fire…
And it doesn’t matter because you can’t control it.
And if you can’t control it, why bother?
You are doing nothing but giving yourself stress and changing your actions for events that may or may not happen.
And let’s be honest, unless you are a president or magically create a mass control device, you are wasting your precious mental energy on things you have little to no effect on.
So instead, focus on what you CAN control.
That includes taking care of yourself, increasing your income, increasing your knowledge, and, most importantly, stopping all news intake.
That last one has been a peculiar experience (I used to wake up and open news sites first thing) but a welcome one.
News is nothing but negative and useless information with no purpose other than to outrage you and throw you into an emotional vortex.
But Alas, it’s your life, and you have control over it. I’m just some guy on the internet; you don’t have to listen to me.
What you CAN listen to is this fantastic song, which describes my philosophy on current events:
