Today I succumbed to my deepest desires and got a train sim videogame.
It’s been a blast, but I’ve been stuck in tutorials for the past 3 hours.
In America, driving a train that goes more than 45mph is a fantasy available only through a simulation. (the European mind cannot comprehend this)
Regardless, it’s good fun and its somehow comforting to write this email while I have the train ride. This song came on rotation and added to the experience.

I recently finished Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction by Inio Asano.
It’s an amazing take on apathy toward the crisis going on around us. It’s all told through multiple perspectives, which adds to the experience.
It’s “short’ by manga standards. Highly recommended if you like topics on.
The art is stunning, and the story has some crazy moments that are eerily similar to what’s going on.
Fair warning: It comes with the weird Japanese obsession with coming-of-age high school bs. Ignoring that the messages can bring an insight or two.
