Artists to watch 2025

Everyone grab your binoculars and obsessive tendencies because it’s time to get the hit list for 2025 Electronic Music artists to watch!

2024 was a fantastic year and had a lot of amazing releases and unexpected returns.

2025 is looking to be even better so here are the acts you absolutely cannot miss this year.

This is a joint article from both Hyperoxia and Hz so there’s something for all Electronic Music Enjoyers

Let’s begin with the worst picks (Hz Picks)

1. IMANU.

I smell an album soon. Both Unfold and Paradise changed how I see electronic music. He’s one of the top faces leading the new gen and I can’t wait to see what he does.

2. The Caracal Project

Self reflections: is one of my favorite EPs of 2024. His knack for experimenting is fantastic and I’ve heard rumors of an album coming soon™️.

3. Isqa

When one side releases, it’s only natural for the other to do as well.

4. Plenka

A must watch. He is guaranteed to release PEAK year after year. His melodies and ambiance are close to none.

5. Sorza.

He released some serious heat last year with Pillars. T.

6. Lake Hills

Quality techno that the industry could really use more of. All of his EPs released this year had some AMAZING production quality combined with

7. Archangel

Some of the cleanest liquid artists with an ever growing discography. This man is a drum and bass MACHINE.

8. YAANO.

Another upcoming name from the DnB scene. Since America is obsessed with DnB recently this is someone to keep tabs on.

9. Nikko

Yes. Most of these are New Gen. They are the ones spearheading the current Golden Age. If you haven’t heard Nikko it’s not too late. Something big is coming this year,.

10. SPACE LACES and HIVEMIND BAYBEE

It’s always good when the Mix King releases. Word around town that there may be another Vaultage in the works. All I gotta say is: If Hivemind releases, I’m buying the most expensive lotto ticket at the gas station.

That’s it for the Hz picks. Let’s see what Hyperoxia’s hit list includes…

1. Yerbby/Yerbownik

The Polish y2k era Trance KING. Consistently creating some of the most beautiful trance sounds you have ever heard, every release gets instantly saved and sees some serious play time. Yerbby/Yerbownik is a MUST watch. You’re doing yourself a disservice by ignoring this talent. This polish mastermind has brought back balearic trance, and the y2k era trance sounds within will be the next big thing.

Expect an Ibiza residency soon.

2. LONOWN & akiaura

Both akiaura and LONOWN craft incredible music in their own regard, but when they come together in the studio is where the real magic happens. This collaboration has crafted NOTHING but MASTERPIECE AFTER MASTERPIECE. An incredible duo due for some REAL recognition SOON.

3. Eagle Eyed Tiger

Hz gave me a gift and showed me Eagle Eyed Tiger’s Smile for the Camera.

Wow.

I fell in love INSTANTLY. There is something comforting in the sounds he creates, and it will forever hook me. The melodies are top notch, and the adventures the songs take you on are pure magic. With an incredible voice too, and deep, thought provoking lyrics in some of his songs, I look forward to what else he creates.

4. X CLUB.

Man, where do I begin.

I found this group by CHANCE, shuffling through random songs based on the artist I was listening to at the time (I forget who it was). But when I first heard New World Expression, I was entranced. X CLUB. delivers some INCREDIBLE club heaters, and honestly may just be the next big thing.

5. HELLBOUND!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite Techno acts so far. It’s all just RAW energy. You’ll by wishing for the bass to crush your bones. It’ll have you in a chokehold, and you’ll constantly be yearning for more. HELLBOUND! is THE artist to commit multiple speeding violations to.

6. ANGEL CANNON

My OTHER favorite techno/hardcore act so far.

The transition from hardwave to hardcore/techno is so damn welcome. If you want more RAW energy, ANGEL CANNON is the person to serve that. The kicks will blow your flesh CLEAN off your body. It’s dirty, it’s hardcore, it’s raw.

7. Lake Hills

I found Lake Hills while deep diving music alongside Hz, and initially we had glossed over him.

BIG. MISTAKE.

Lake Hills is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We’ve already started to see his name get echoed through the grapevine. And, for good reason. Uniquely crafted sounds, intricate soundscapes. Lake Hills is MAGIC.

8. hxly xo

When I first. found hxly xo, I was BLOWN AWAY. Synthetic Fauna was my Album of the Year for 2023, and houses some of my most FAVORITE tracks from him. I even wrote a REVIEW about it, and, the man himself hxly xo, read it.

This was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL moment in this journey because it showed that, anything CAN happen. It proved that this could be something more.

Before you even continue, please go give the album a listen.

9. bleach.bath

I found bleach.bath somewhat recently (late last year), and despite him being essentially the only artist I listened to for the month of November, he unfortunately did not make the best of 2024 cut because…

The album I had on repeat released in 2023…

His other stuff is amazing, but it did NOT hold a light to Keep Your Distance. However, bleach.bath NEEDS to be on your radar.

10. DJ Satsugai

Just. Raw. Emotion. And. Pure. Magic.
