I LOVE multitempo songs. Songs that switch speed and vibes and feel like an overarching story.
The song begins with the signature downtempo drums and snares. A soft piano sets the scene before a trickle of winter-like sounds takes center stage.
This is the part that feels like winter is ending, because intro is over the song starts speeding up, signaling the coming of spring.
The song keeps picking up the tempo, and the speed transforms the winter synth into a warmer one. I honestly don’t know how it works, but the speed change is amazing.
The one gripe with it.
None honestly, lol.
Wrappin it up
This is a fantastic song to prepare for the spring while also closing out the week. It brings a certain sense of closure.
