🍱 Delicacy of the Day
Felix Cartal - Nothing Good Comes Easy.
After days showcasing complex sound designs I have news.
Today’s track is the POLAR OPPOSITE.
Literally as basic as it gets.
So why am I sending it?
Because I got burnt out on the complex stuff. NOTHING else was hitting today.
Then this came on and I immediately understood why people enjoy stuff like marshmiddo.
Now look, I’ve been following Canadian Cretin Felix Cartal’s career for a good 8 years now.
His sound has not really evolved. Not that its a bad thing as he’s found his niche. Some of his songs have also aged really well.
This is one of those I found during a discography catch up and thought it was acceptable to send.
What got me was how catchy and simple it is. It’s one of those songs that sound like slop house on first listen but somehow sounds great on repeat listens.
It has that “fun summer vibe” you can play with people who don’t really like the genre.
I’ll come back with the complex stuff tomorrow. Consider this a “Yummy Snack.”
Njoy.

💭 Quick Drivel
This email showcased some disgusting shitcoin “brand” that tried to “sponsor” us.
I refuse to give any free shoutouts to horrible content that is not worth your time so this public post from the email got removed.
The Dumpster™ does NOT and WILL NOT accept anything REMOTELY connected to gambling, shitcoins, and things that are a genuine detriment to society.
Anyway, I know this is irrelevant to music. But daily drivel is MY mental illness corner so I get to pick the coping mechanism content.
