Today we got a “foundational” song on the Dumpster Delicacies Lore™.

I loved this song (and album) so much that I wrote the first-ever article reviewing it .

Had been sitting on the project for 10 months at that point so this album coming out was the perfect excuse to start.

American’t G Jones is an absolute master at complex soundscapes.

His songs sound like NOTHING out there. A pioneer unlike anyone else in other genres.

This song in particular sounds like a “mental breakdown” in audible form.

That description might do the song a disservice, but the intro, the conflicting melodies, and the constant ups and downs give it that feeling.

Yes, weird way to describe a song, but that’s the wonder of G Jones, you truly can’t explain his work.

And I mean, come on, look at the song title lmao.

So I’ll just give that as the pitch:

It’s a unique song. I promise you haven’t heard anything like this before.

💭 Quick Drivel

Today marks 3 years since we started Dumpster Delicacies.

This all officially started when I posted this article back in October of 2023.

Its aged in a peculiar way and its jarring to say that the writing has NOT gotten any better.

However, someone signed up the day after posting it.

From there, it was a matter on fulfilling my promise of sending a daily song.

And from that moment on we had a perfect streak of 399 days!

Then things kinda fell through, and we had to take some hiatuses over the last 2 years.

Still less breaks than HxH so I think it’s still a win.

Despite the “yearly” hiatuses (and the wack schedule) that have hit over the past 2 years, we are still committed to curating the best of electronic music (with the constant stream of drivel).

Every time I think I won’t miss it I end up wanting to come back to share more of whatever sounds good that season.

That said, it’s been a crazy couple of years, and I’m incredibly grateful to you for listening to these songs and reading these unhinged rants day in and day out.

I hope you’ve found songs that changed your life, made you feel better and deepened your enjoyment of this amazing genre.

Or if it isn’t “that deep” at least a song that you’ve enjoyed more than others, lol.

We still have a lot more planned. Even though a lot of it is going at snails pace.
