🍱 Delicacy of the Day
This was a one hit wonder.
I saw it as a stray and wasn’t expecting much from it.
BUT WOW.
… I have to say it.
BRITISH F*CKING CREATURE George FitzGerald did a phenomenal job on this.
I’m not even doing this on purpose anymore. British Creatures are just THIS GOOD at making music.
What got me was the “windy” synth he uses for the main chords.
Everything also flows really well. The midsection provides a great breath of fresh air before throwing you back.
This is probably my favorite type of House, I’m gonna call it “synth nature house”
Probably not the right name but I’m running with it.
To have a reference point, this sounds similar to John Hopkins. It gave me the same vibe as Emerald Rush.
Needless to say, this is a phenomenal song. It’s been on loop the whole day.
Njoy.

💭 Quick Drivel
It seems that now that the tech house crusade calmed down a bit some of the better songs are surfacing.
I’ve found and safetly tucked away
That or I finally lashed the algorithm enough for it to give some really good stuff.
But October and November have been pretty good months for music!
I also saw that apple music was going ot announce their artist of the year which… okay?
Still haven’t found mine but it’s down to like 5 people.
Which sidenote #2, I hate how good the latest slayyyter song is. It showed up in the rotation while I was hunting for new music and hit me by surrpise.
Like come on now. I shouldn’t be liking this stuff hahaha. The melodies are just too good. The start also sounded like Mr Oizo. (for like 10 seconds)
Anyway, thats the senseless drivel for today.
More tomorrow.
Always Forward
