It's Back!
I hate models.
Welcome to Sunday Singles!
Every Sunday either Hyperoxia or I will send you a micro-review of a single song.
Before we start, I have EXCITING news.
After another sleep deprived night visit from the Christmas Spirit, the Avent Dumpsterdar is back!
After some severe bullying, I’ve caved and created this brand new Dumpsterdar.
Unfortunately, the previous banner was lost in the explosion so we had to get a new one.
Here’s how the new one looks!

Nothing some duct tape can’t fix
With that out of the way, let’s see what day 7 has inside:
Most Interesting Artist!
Well Well Well… let’s see what this is all about…

Artist Lore
I Hate Models is a French Freak. His songs are what I can only describe as “living in France”
His songs can only be described as “Harmonic Chaos” which is one of my favorite and yet hardest to produce genres.
There’s only so much noise and screeches you can add before it becomes genuine noise but IHM does a masterful work in striking the perfect balance between melody and hard thumping beats.
It’s the most interesting concept I’ve heard all year and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Model Haters.
The Great
There’s a LOT going on in this song. It’s both a dancefloor rager and a cinematic experience.
The composition itself is insane. Every sound in this song is clean, hard thumping, and with a hint of bass in the back.
The intro and buildup do not prepare you for the absolute ride this song will take you on. Vocals are a very interesting addition and make it feel like this song is a nod to the 2010 era.
The drop is the classic dancefloor rager. You can SEE the lights and the crowd going crazy. Very odd how the song makes it happen.
Where this song truly shines is the midsection where the melody is introduced. From here, the true cinematic experience begins, keeping the speed and movement-inducing beat with a gorgeous melody that leaves you wanting to dance and sit still while enjoying the moment.
The outro is another highlight, having it calm down in such a harmonious way is the perfect closer for such an insane song.
This is one of those experiences you have to listen for yourself.
The one gripe with it.
It’s a first tough listen. It took me a couple of listens to warm up to it, but there are so many amazing things going on in this song it’s hard to stop listening once you give it a chance.
Wrappin it up
If you like techno, experimental tracks, good melodies, or a fun fast song, you HAVE to listen to this song.
I Hate Models is building something amazing with this project and album. Everything he’s released so far is an adventure where you don’t know if you’ll be dancing or in awe of the melodies he’s created.

From the same EP. This one has a harder vibe but it doesn’t fail to hit the right buttons..
