Artist Lore

Not gonna be glazing talking about IMANU today. The spotlight will go to Odd Mob.

Hailing from Australia (a land I can confirm does everything upside down) he’s been making some of the most unique Tech House in recent years.

That is thanks to his great sense of rhythm and tempo. And of course, clean and unique sound design.

The Great

It’s honestly difficult to remix a song as phenomenal as A Taste of Hope. Yet somehow Odd Mob focused on what made it amazing (the melody) and turn it on its head.

Frankly, he couldn’t do a traditional house remix. IMANU beat him to that, so what does this legend do?

Turn it into a Piano House song.

And let me tell you. It SLAPS.

Upon first impressions, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s gonna have the most euphoric piano drop.

I mean, the switch-up is insane. I fully expected it to be another traditional house drop. I was genuinely impressed with how clean the pianos sound. Better yet they play into the originals melody perfectly.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Sunday Singles without mentioning how AMAZING it is to analyze this song. No matter where you search you’ll find detailed sounds that all work in harmony.

This is a beautiful song to play over sunsets, night rides, and anywhere you want to enhance the experience.

The one gripe with it.

It can honestly be a very situational song. Yes you can bust this for a focus session but the energy is too high that you’ll probably get distracted. It also feels short for whatever reason but that’s a different conversation.

I honestly think this is best used when down in the dumps and want something that matches the mood but has the speed to bring it up.

Wrappin it up

Odd Mob did something fantastic here. It’s absolutely worth the listen and instead of reading you should be listening to it.

Go and Njoy.

Similar to it

Not as euphoric but still a good remix from Odd Mob. This one showcases more of his traditional tech house sound.
