2:00pm.
It’s been a great day at the wage cage today. A total of 5 people have come to ask for stuff and it is so quiet I’m close to finding a reason to keep going.
But that’s not all I’m finding today…
You see, when deciding what to send for today’s song, I thought of doing the funny thing where you get Deadmau5’s and Kaskade’s PHENOMENAL “I remember”.
Look, that’s too tacky and overdone. We want to show you UNDERGROUND and NOT KNOWN artists whenever we can.
But then I looked through all my playlists looking for a song with the word remember..
I COULDN’T FIND ANY.
Now this is quite the conondrum.
What can you listen to for Memorial Day, a day which commemorates sacrifice?
It surely can’t be some HEAVY BASS hitter that sounds NOTHING like what gets commemorated today…
Unless…
Nah, what I have for you is a fantastic house track.
No no, I’m not setting you up for Deadmau5 and Kaskade I remember. I promise.
(P.S. There’s a COPIOUS amount of songs titled “remember” in house, that’s today’s fun fact)
Due to a lack of fitting songs, I’ve spent most of my wage cage free time looking for a song that has the word “remember” in the title AND accurately represents the feeling.
And after an estimate of about 50 songs…
I didn’t find it :(
So I heard 20 more.
AND FOUD NOTHING THAT WASN’T A DOWN N DIRTY CLUB HEATER.
…It’s time to bring in the big guns…
I’ve asked Hyperoxia for a song.
He thinks about it for a minute…
And sends this absolute GEM by Rezident and Biishop.
It’s mellow, simple, and has a very nice harmony to it.
