Not gonna beat around the bush on this one.

It’s something very simple: Appreciate when bad things don't happen

To put it into perspective, I’ll use a few examples from the many things that have happened this year.

Both good and bad.

For example...

Earlier this year I got fired from my job. At least I can appreciate the savings I had and it also resulted in getting a much better job shortly after.=

Then I lost not one but two girls (yeah it’s a work in progress), but at least I wasn't married to either and it didn’t end in a messy divorce.

Sure, I'm STILL sick as a dog, but at least I'm not hospitalized or need surgery.

Yes, many people have gotten it rougher. It's ironically been more useful to people I show this to.

So I hope that 2026 becomes the year that you appreciate when bad things don’t happen.

I appreciate that no matter how bad some days were, you still got an amazing daily song.
