New Year New You?
A different way to look at it.
It’s the second weekend of the year, a time when, statistically, people drop their New Year resolutions and go back to normal operating procedures.
So what goes wrong?
The new year is supposed to feel like a clean slate. A full reset.
January 1 is the metaphorical “reset button” that undoes years of root issues that get swept under the rug.
And then January 15 rolls around and you wonder why you’re back at doing the same things as last year.
I've said this before but life has no reset button. You won’t wake up tomorrow and become a new person without biases, problems, or situations.
So what is the solution?
Continue on from where you were in 2024. Bad habits and all. And once you
Or in fancy terms:
Find where you are now and dictate where you want to be.
So if you've already quit your goals of the year because they didn't come fast enough or just because you put too much stuff on your plate…
Align your goals with what you want and keep going.
Life isn’t built one year reset at a time, it’s built day by day, decision by decision.
The hilarious part is that music works just like that.
Your music taste doesn't “reset” to a blank slate. All the playlists and songs you’ve saved are still there. They only disappear when you manually delete them.
The process is simple too: You hear a song that you like…
Search songs similar to it...
Listen to more songs the genre has to offer…
And if you end up liking it and want to explore it further, you just do.
All without waiting for a reset button.
Case in point, today’s song is from a genre you’ve received little if anything from.
After some odd twist of fate, I’ve ended up in Eastern European electronic music rotations.
And this was one song that, upon first listening, became nothing short of an addiction.
I don’t know what the lyrics say (which could add to the rare vocal enjoyment) but they hit HARD.
The beat is very fun and addictive. Something about that simple melody and 2010-ish sounds makes for a nostalgic and danceable tune.
And with a run time of 2:15 it’s a nice “shot” type song.
Yes. The selection will surprise most long time divers. It genuinely is unlike ANYTHING we’ve sent before.
So if you want to start a change somewhere, start with a song you wouldn’t normally hear…
And carry that momentum to change your life into something you want.
Njoy.
Genre: Electro Pop. (Yep. I’m hitting rock bottom here.)
Always Forward

Yes. Hyperoxia is still missing. If you ever see a racially ambiguous islander roaming around please shoot a purple flare and a team of agents will quickly bring him back. You will be handsomely rewarded.
