Now that the year is over its time to bust out the Trashtal orb and see which predictions came to be.

#1. A new IMANU Album.

No album. BUT we did get an EP so I get half points.

#2. A new Xilent release

Nope. Unless you count Tokyo Machine but that’s cheating so 0 points on this one.

#3. A new Joyryrde release

At this point I gotta start taking something stronger than copium… 0 points.

#4. Space Laces EP

We got a mixtape/album so this gets double points.

#5. Hivemind Release

We got not one but TWO releases. 2 points for this one.

#6 Knock 2 Album

Tbf this one was expected to come out in 2024 but bro delayed it. It also wasn’t all that so I’m only getting half points for this one.

#7 The return of electro house.

We all have our copium. BUT BUT there WAS a bit of a resurgence with the Ninajirachi and Kindrid albums and some other releases. I think I’m getting a point for this one.

#8 BRONSON 2

Look this was just a moonshot. Both artists (Golden Features and Odesza) release once every thousand moons.

#9 Riddim loses popularity (After 9 years of slop it’s time to call it)

I would kinda say yes? Idk in the states its still popular but people are agreeing that the scene is getting stale. Half points for this one

#10 Future bass makes a comeback

Not really? I think this is deader tan dead. 0 points for this one

#11 The Caracal Project album (Another innovative artist which could shake things up)

Unfortunately not. 0 Points.

#12 No Mana EP

I genuinely threw this one as a random thing but it turned real! Definitely asking for another one in 2026. 1 point for this one.

#13 Dawn Wall EP

Not even a single. 0 points.

#14 Mohican Sun EP

I do it to myself. At this point it’s more of a copium ball than an actual crystal ball. 0 points for 0 songs.

#15 Camo & Krooked Album

I gotta stop making dnb predictions. Ts just aint coming true. 0 points.

#16 EDDIE goes back to making house

0 Points. I dont see how riddim is more fun to make and in my opinion it’s not even that good.

#17 Skrillex extends the Golden Age by another 3 years with a release

I’m gonna give a half point because while he released, it was only a mixtape and I think the golden age is slowing down for next year.

#18 A non-OST danger album

Back to the unhealthy amounts of copium. Nothing against the man’s OSTS but his originals are TIMELESS. 0 points.

Half points. It was released as Kintsugi with MUCH weaker lyrics. I think the mix lyrics made it 10 times better but hey, what do I know.

#20 The return on Memtrix

-1 point for the unhealthy amount of copium in these dnb predictions. Someone take ts away from me.

#21 TWO AgonyOST EPs (Gonna need them this year)

Man how I predicted I was going to need them. I’m tempted to give myself NEGATIVE points for how cheeks this prediction was but I think the rough year prediction evens it out.

#22 ALRT album.

He did release some singles but no album. I think its time to be more conservative on the album predictions.

#23 Ekcle Comes back (THIS ONE is pure copium)

-1 point and a hit in the head because how did I even COME UP WITH THIS? I still do cry to this day about it.

#24 Artists stop doing this tacky thing of slowing and speeding up songs to get picked up by tiktok algorithm

Half point because all the eastern europeans still did it. There was definitely a decrease though.

#25 Hyperoxia releases a song.

0 points unfortunately. Maybe next year.

So what does the grand total come out to?

Let’s bust out the calculator real quick and…

7/25. 28%.

Rikers…

Well, at least I learned a valuable lesson:

Don’t buy lottery tickets When it fails the first time just try again.

So expect to see my 2026 predictions with a new trashtal ball. Made with LESS copium this time.

However I have one final prediction to make before I throw this current one out…

You WILL enjoy today’s song.

This is by American’t Kindrid.

Even though it didn’t make it into the Dumpsterdar, it’s some of the best stuff I’ve heard all year.

I think it’s a good bridge into 2026 where you’ll be hearing a lot more “nostalgia infused” songs.

Not to say this is nostalgic, but it sounds a lot like the modern version of electro house.

But that’s something you’ll be hearing more about in the 2026 predictions.

For now…

Njoy.
