I have a confession to make.
Like Hyperoxia, I also had my bouts of heartbreak this year.
Of course, that’s not enough to keep your Trashmaster Hz down.
And that’s thanks to the album that carried me through the entire process.
In fact it helped me bounce back BETTER.
This album is the most influential piece of music of the year.
Why is it not the album of the year?
It came out in 2020.
Regardless, that masterpiece of an album is exactly what’s inside Day 7 of the Advent Dumpsterdar (we are NOT changing the name)

Lastlings - First Contact
If you haven’t heard of Abnormal Australian supergroup Lastlings that changes today
And there’s no exaggeration in saying that they make the most addictive, relatable and perfectly engineered music known to man.
To put it into perspective, let’s see what Sloptify had to report on it:

I also heard it for another couple of dozen hours on different platforms.
That was the album I was addicted to a couple of months ago.
I’m talking about a 31-day back-to-back listening session. I played nothing but this album for DAYS.
And it was the search for a better way to listen to this album that I got into high-fidelity audio.
This album is in the top 5 best-designed albums I’ve ever heard in my 11-year career.
Every song is engineered to perfection. You can find something new with every play. Even if it’s your 40th run.
You genuinely won’t find better breakup music than this. Every song will explain an emotion better than you can.
So today I’m not recommending a whole song
I’m recommending the whole ALBUM.
The concept is fantastic as well: First Times.
First time seeing new things, first time exploring, first time having a heartbreak, you get the point.
The whole album was recorded in Japan (which can explain why its so mf PEAK)
It’s a beautiful piece of art and one you can’t ignore.
If you like Rufus Du Sol, this will feel like home.
I will even say that they beat Rufus Du Sol.
In any case, whether you’re going through a heartbreak or not, play this front to back and have your life changed.
Njoy.
(That is the whole playlist on YouTube)

P.S. This is in the list for a full-scale review. Already got other articles lined up, including the best-of-the-year stuff. The songs will get better as the Dumpsterdar goes on.
Stay tuned
P.P.S. I’m not kidding when I say that album is a must-listen. Run it front to back and you’ll hear what legendary music sounds like.
