After yesterday’s song I went on a huge Feed Me binge and realized how great of an artist he is.
So it’s time to do something wacky…
The first ever Artist Showcase.
This is a week-long event in which I’ll talk about a particular artist.
Every day you’ll get a song that we think is in their best.
Some may include stories (depending on the nostalgia level) but otherwise it’s more of what you’ve seen so far.
Yesterday was the kickoff song so today let’s get over the song that introduced me to Feed Me and the wonders of Electro House.
It was 2014 and I had just gotten introduced to the genre.
Something peculiar about the 2012-2014 era is that it’s considered a Golden Age.
Electronic Music was going through a revival period and there were songs that marked an entire generation.
This is things like Porter Robinson’s Worlds, Avicii’s peak, Skrillex’s Recess and much more.
Feed Me was a huge part of that era.
He was one pillar who consistently released a lot of Electro House (back when it was still alive, lol)
This was a song that perfectly describes the era.
Melodic with a tone of heavy beats and strong bass.
