I don’t get all this hype about the beach.
You’re telling me that a burning place where:
You sit on your ass all day.
Have to share space with three different families fighting for who has the loudest speaker.
Leave with an infinite supply of sand in places you didn’t even touch.
Get cold-approached by all sorts of vendors.
Like don’t get me wrong, the ocean is beautiful, but it also really depends on what beach you go to…
And every beach I’ve been to (even in Thailand), the water is GRAY and not appealing to get in.
AND THE WORST PART IS THAT EVEN AFTER YOU DO NOTHING BUT SIT THERE…
YOU LEAVE EXHAUSTED.
So I’m genuinely confused about what people mean when they say “I LOVE THE BEACH”.
Maybe it’s also that I only visit the beach once a year.
I’m also not the biggest fan of the sun (or heat in general).
So the bias is already huge.
And if you are a beach lover that's had a good experience, please reply and let me know what’s so magical about it.
Now this would be the perfect time to send a song that you could use while at the beach.
Except… I can’t find one that is stronger than the Puerto Rican music.
