It seems that among their many… gifts, British Creatures are masters of melodies and sound.

This is PROBABLY Marsh’s most energetic song hahaha.

It’s playful with its sound and has an addictive melody.

And no, it’s not a piano house song.

This is one of those you can spend hours analyzing and finding new details in production.

Njoy.

💭 Quick Drivel

There’s only a handful of weeks left in the year and I haven’t found the album of the year.

Its getting dire!

Maybe tomorrow’s releases have it, but for now lets check out some rapid fire reviews from stuff I heard today:

Hot since 82 - Obsessions (7/10)

I think this is one of those times where longer albums are actually not that good.

Songs like Shaded and Another Life are the most memorable while everything else is kind of… forgettable?

It’s weird to explain but there’s nothing that jumped out at me here.

Truly an unfortuante situation. But the longer songs just had me counting down the minutes.

The edits are a lot more stomachable.

I enjoyed the simplicity of the songs though.

Highly recommended for fans of Morgin Madison.

Le Youth - Who are you really (7/10)

Another one of those forgettable albums. I think I’m the problem at this point.

There’s not much to write about. Its your run of the mill “chill house” album. There was like 1 notable song that I saved but aside from that this was one common trope after the other.

It sounded good and I’m sure many people are going to enjoy this.

I’m just not the target audience.

Still, it’s audible, its simple, and its worth your listen.

Marsh - Home (9/10)

SO SO CLOSE!

This is probably one of the best house albums to come out this year.

Everything sounds so clean that you can get lost in the sound .

I will say that the vocal heavy tracks don’t sound as good as the non vocal ones.

Regardless, Marsh made a real labor of love with this one.

There was also a legit liquid dnb song in the middle of this hahaha, you can’t make this up.

My only “gripe” with it is that it loses steam by the end of it.

Aside from that, its a fantastic journey through house. It’s the perfect mix between clubby and euphoric.

In any case, that’s all I got for you today. The search for Album of the Year continues…
