I hope you’ve been enjoying my little journey into trying to make MY emails a bit more enjoyable to read.

Today we’ll see a break from that while I brainstorm some more ideas for them.

Now I’d like to talk about moving.

It’s a difficult (heavy) task. Filled with stressful moments like “did I pack everything” and “where did I put x”, just to name a few scenarios.

Now, while not everyone gets to have the pleasure (or displeasure, depending on how you see it) of moving, not many people understand what it means to move to a different country. I have been on that end quite a bit of times (perks of being an international student), and it honestly can be quite painful.

You say goodbye to a life you’ve established over the years that you’ve been there. You say goodbye to friends that you wont be able to regularly see (although, thanks to technology, that has become far easier). You might even have to say goodbye to romantic relationships (or rather, “see you soon”).

Yeah…

It’s not for the faint of heart. Your essentially hitting the reset switch on your social life every time you move, and that can take a toll.

In a few days time, I will be moving back home, and then again to a wonderful place called…

EUROPE.

Yeah, I’m not gonna fully tell you where I’m moving to, but it’s Europe.

I honestly, can’t wait to go back.

It was, such a dream.

It’ll be hard to leave behind the family and friends that I have here, but I know I’ll be able to return to visit in the future.

Who knows, maybe in the future I’ll even be able to help them come up and visit.

Yeah, moving is difficult, but it’s exciting.

Moving to a completely different place and being able to explore and SEE the world living and breathing around you.

Especially with Europe…

That history and culture?

I. Can’t. Wait.

Today’s song (hopefully Hz hasn’t already sent it) reminds me of what it might mean to go out and truly explore, to see a world that lives and breathes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I and Hz (hopefully Hz does) enjoy it.

Genre: Melancholy Russian Brilliance (idk what genre this is dawg)

Per Audacia Ad Astra

(P.S. If Hz already sent this then blame Hz, trust the process.)
