Mt Fuji did not kill me

But it also didn't take 35 days.

Hello.

Yes, I kinda went MIA (again).

It wasn't on purpose. I've genuinely not stopped moving since I landed, those emails that I sent were pre-written from a month ago. But ever since landing it's been a cycle of

1. Wake up at 7am

2. Run to the 5 activities I overbooked.

3. Think I can write during train rides just to get lost when I do (I keep a counter, it's been 17 times and I've only been here for 12 days. It's bad.

4. Lose battery because my phone has the lifespan of a cicada (5 hours) and I forgot to charge the portable battery (again)

5. Get home at 12am. Sleep to get more than 4 hours of sleep.

6. Repeat

(Can you tell this is a vacation?? I can't. And every country will be the same. Not a complaint. I designed this... FOR WHATEVER REASON.)

So yeah. It's... Not been the easiest thing to "travel" and keep daily emails.

"But hz, can't you schedule these from your phone???"

Yes...

IF I HAD ACCESS TO DATA.

T-Mobile (dogshit phone company) doesn't let me see my family (use esims) unless I pay off the ransom (my phone).

So I'm stuck at 256kb data which is barely enough to load Google maps. (Which most times doesn’t work)

Sometimes it tweaks out and sends me in the wrong direction.

So unfortunately, I'm literally running the same lifestyle -4 hours of sleep and one meal a day- except this time it's in beautiful Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Australia, back home. (Yes, It’s been THAT busy.)

So honestly, pretty worth it!

That said, MAYBE this second country will offer more free time. At least enough time to SCHEDULE emails.

In fact the only reason why you're getting this email is because my body is fully shutting down and I had to come back home early before I collapsed in a train (would have been a cool story). [Editors note: I wrote this in AUGUST 21ST. I’M JUST NOW GETTING FREE TIME TO SEND THIS]

So that's where I’ve been.

But in that time, I've written plenty about the experience and I can't wait to share it with you.

As a token of your patience, here are some pictures I took of the sunrise in Mt. Fuji.

It was a beautiful experience that I'm NOT doing again. I still haven't recovered from that and it was 15 days ago. [Editors note: Walking was hell for the next couple of days lol]

Alright. That email was written a bit over a month ago. I’m finally back at the states and well, nothing has gone as expected.

But it doesn’t matter BABYBEE. I promised the dumpster would be back and IT WILL be back.

In any case, here's today song. It was playing while I climbed, and it's the only reason I made it to the peak.

It’s genuinely insane how music can make you push through even though your feet feel like they're crumbling and your legs feel like they're falling off. (like we did)

For this song in particular, the energy is so insane that it’s solidified itself as the go-to when I need inspiration.

The rhythm perfectly matches the steps, the melody crawls into your head, and there’s enough detail in the back to get lost in.

Of course, it’s another Masterwork by No Mana.

This is part of his Electromag album, one of the best albums of all time (biased opionion)

In any case, Njoy.

Genre: Electro House Babyee

Always Forward

Hz

P.S. Yeah the plan originally was to bring you along for the ride but ho lee fuck, first and last time a trip is overbooked. Good thing the sheer amount of good music increased, so there’s a lot of amazing stuff in the pipeline.
