Do you try to discern an individual by interacting with them?
Or..
Do you try to discern an individual by witnessing how they unfurl themselves in any given situation?
Do you try to pick them apart, or do you wait till they burst at the seams?
Each perspective holds its own strengths and weaknesses.
Do we interject at a moments notice, and establish our own ideas of how an individual is?
Or do we wait in silence while we bare witness to an individual establishing themselves as who they really are at the subconscious level?
Do we hand them the mask of how we believe they are, in order to help satisfy our own beliefs of how an individual should act?
Or do we let them don the mask they themselves have created?
