Origins of Music

HEY, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT….

I’M STILL HERE!

Yeah I know, its been a long time…. Too long some may say.

However, as you know I was occupied enjoying my time in Japan (despite Hz making the time to pump out these emails). Although, I was worrying about my classes as well, so yeah.

Anyways, today I want to touch base and ask all of you a question.

When did your journey through the electronic music soundscape begin?

Mine began with my dad introducing me to Armin van Buuren, Dj Tiesto, and Above and Beyond.

I became INSTANTLY infatuated with the sounds they produced, and to this day, I still listen to them. I owe my dad for showing me the amazing soundscape that is electronic music.

Now, its a little crazy to imagine that we started music off with artists such as Mozart and Bach, and with how far we’ve come as a species. We’ve continued to push the idea of what music is.

So, how did yours begin? Was it from a family member? Maybe it was a friend, or maybe you stumbled across it on your own accord? Regardless, you chose easily the best genre to fall in love with.

Today’s song isn’t any of the aforementioned artists, but it has a very relevant name to this email, and it sounds real deep, so we’re sharing it.

Also, as a little bonus, here is a picture of our visit to the Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto.

Genre: Deep House??? idk, lol.
