Stress & Strain

Labor Day Amirite

It’s been a chill day, the wage cage was empty and had little to no people.

Days like these are peak Liquid DnB vibes.

If you’re new here, you’re in for a treat. Liquid - while simple - is one of the most in-depth genres.

This song is an excellent testament to it.

I won’t lie—it was hard to find. British Creatures have a STRONG grip on drum and bass, making this a rare find in the archives.

While this song teeters on the “too bassy to be considered liquid” side, it still has that signature snare kick adorned by the ambiance and sounds imagined only by the artist.

I heavily enjoyed the “American” influence over the song. Instead of a focus on the bass, the fantastic sound design and little details take center stage.

This is a song that comes alive the more you hear it.

Unfortunately, as punishment for being an American DnB producer, Ownglow seems to have quit making music. All that is left is his fantastic discography.

Anyway, I hope you had a great Labor Day. I like how most American holidays have become glorified cooking hangouts, but come on, you can’t beat a good burger.

Nuff Yappin

Njoy.
