🍱 Delicacy of the Day

Petit Biscuit - our mutual planet

Well, I was doing my rounds looking for new albums to listen to and found this new album by French Freak Petit Biscuit.

I figured it would be the standard future-bass stuff he’s known for, so I put it on in the background.

So color me surprised to find out that this guy did a whole ambient album.

Never in a 100 years would I have imagined this. It’s usually the “slow artists” that speed up the tempos and go for ultra energy stuff.

This is the song that stood out the most.

It’s a pretty good ambient song. It’s relaxing, it has calm sounds, slow tempos, and this very odd synth doing its own thing in the back.

But the melody that ties it all together makes it a winner.

This is a song (and album) you put on the background when you want to relax. I tried using it for work and it made me a bit tired.

Perfect for the midweek slump.

Njoy.

(Peep the first comment, I think I’m taking crazy pills)

💭 Quick Drivel

For whatever reason, I’ve been listening to more ambient over the past couple of weeks

It's outright IMPRESSIVE how ambient has been releasing better albums than most genres out there.

Is ambient about to be genre of the year 2026? It’s honestly almost there.

The funniest thing about this is that it was a PETIT BUSCUIT AMBIENT ALBUM that brought this realization.

This dude used to make future bass. Hell, he even released an album 6 months ago. What is the pipeline here?

Future bass → ????? → Ambient.

You can’t make this up man.

Regardless, it’s a pretty good album. Not album of the year good imo. (Though it’s pretty close to making it in the list)

In any case, its the best “intro to the fall” album.

And yeah, its incredibly relaxing. This one leans more toward “fall asleep to” than “work with” ambient, though.

Anyway, nuff yappin

Always getting hit with unexpected shifts Forward
