Liquid drum and bass is one of those genres where the few “different sounding” songs are among the most beautiful things you’ll hear.

Finding a good liquid song is like finding a diamond.

These are tracks to be cherished, savored, and enjoyed.

They are masterclasses in simplicity, sound design, and melody.

And this is no different.

This is one of those songs that feel like a story.

It changes every minute, expands as it goes, and keeps you in awe.

I can’t recommend this song enough.

💭 Quick Drivel

So this was it, the time to unlock a new map.

I left the accursed Airbnb, stopped by a burger place called “moms touch” for their infamous burgers, and made my way to Incheon Airport.

I don’t really remember much about the airport. Probably because I was running late as usual, lol.

There were some cleaning robots all over the place which was cool to see.

Aside from that, its the standard airtport experience and everything that comes with it.

And now, time to give some last thoughts on the whole place.

Aside from the exaggerated picture I’ve painted on the place, its actually really good!

Seoul is a bit meh. But I’ve come to realize that capital cities tend to have this “bad rep” to them.

They’re more expensive, everyone’s in a rush, and while there is a bit more stuff to do, its all so spread apart that you spend hours on the train just getting to the place.

The food was alright. It was incredibly affordable though. You can get a full meal for like $15 imperial units.

Ironically the best things I ate were the DMZ food and the street food.

The kbbqs were a bit underwhelming, but that’s my fault for going for affordability instead of quality.

The sights are pretty good though! The nightscapes are unmatched and even during the day the vast amount of mountains decorate the scene very well.

As for activities? Ehhh, I know I missed out on the legendary baseball games, but it didn’t really seem like there was much to do but go shopping, take pictures, and eat.

The markets were a bit underwhelming (since most of the “night markets” closed at 11pm, lol) but I’m not much of a shopper so take this with a grain of salt.

Aside from that, it's cool to see a culture that's been evolving at its own pace and making such enormous waves in the world.

Kpop was everywhere (and so was plastic surgery), the people were kind and friendly, and overall I had a good time.

It’s a good place to visit. Highly recommended.

…just don’t make Seoul the main base of operations, lol.

Yeah I also knocked out on the plane there.

However, this is the Third location!

The immigration line was relatively empty, so it didn’t take long to get to the immigration offer.

“Papers please.”

I provide my Amercan’t passport.

She inspects it closely and asks…

“Hotels and flights please.”

Thankfully I used my brain for once and prepared for this!

I gave her all the printed out documents (I was NOT having her wait 20 years for the 325kbps data to load all of this).

She carefully inspected all of them.

“What brings you to China?”

“Tourism.”

“How long are you staying for?”

“6 days”

“Are you taking any trains?”

“No.”

“What do you do for a living?”

“[Job]”

At this point I was getting nervous. It’s the first time I got asked for this many documents and information.

“Do you have any other passports?”

“Yes” I say, handing them another passport.

She goes back to inspecting them, and her face makes this “suspicious” face.

“Why are the names different?”

I freeze.

“D-Different?”.

“Yes, the last names are different. Can you give me another ID?”

Thankfully, I brought my Florida License (by pure accident) and gave it to her.

She inspected everything again carefully. By this point I had been here for a good 10 minutes, and the airport security was giving me some suspicious looks.

“Okay.” Said the clerk. “You are good to go, it seems they mispelled your last name on the passport. Please get it fixed.”

After that I got my bags and exited the airport to meet with the guy that was taking me to the hotel.

It seems that traffic and cities go hand in hand in hand.

The driver didn’t seem to keen on conversation despite my best attempts so it was just us and the quiet road while Chinese news played on the radio.

It was still a picturesque drive there.

After a certain point the buildings were filled with LEDs and the sort.

Then we made it to the hotel.

I grabbed all my stuff and got down.

The hotel host was there and recieved me.

She asked for some documents, checked me in, and took me to my room.

…Not before calling the driver guy to come back as I had forgotten the music phone.

After that embarassing experience she kindly showed me around the area.

Some cool highlights:

A train station that was CONNECTED to the buildings basement

A full MALL also connected to the basement

A quick pointer of all the popular spots.

Overall, this place is INSANE.

But I was exhausted and it was time to head to bed.

Little did I know how unprepared I was for what came next.
