That’s the first thing my sleep-deprived being hears as I walk into the wage cage.
“It’s too early for this. What’s going on.” I say half asleep.
My coworker points to the camera screen and plays a recording from last night.
“oh… Oh…. OH. WHOA WHAT THE -”
To my eyes is a couple making out in ways too spicy for both an elevator and this newsletter.
It’s so heated that the elevator doors OPEN and the freaks are too into it they completely ignore it.
“It gets better.” Foreshadows my coworker.
“Impossible. You’d have to -”
My eyes fully widen.
“NO. WAY.” I run it back to see if that just happened. “Did she just pull down her shirt and -”
“Put her chest out so he could have a taste?” interjects my coworker. “Yep.”
The video keeps going for another 40 seconds while the guy finishes… doing whatever that is.
And after 2 minutes of freaky activities, the satisfied couple exits the elevator, stopping the recording.
I stand in AWE of the show I just experienced.
“Well…” I say while regaining composure. “That’s… just another day in the job!”
Yeah. I don’t know why elevators are "freaky moment magnets” but you’ll be surprised how common these… situations are.
“HOLD UP. THAT’S A WEIRD STORY. IT’S ALSO TUESDAY. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? DID YOU FINALLY ELIMINATE HYPEROXIA?”

Man oh man. There’s only one person who can get this.
A person who has released nothing but emotive heaters for the past couple of years.
It’s also one of the few artists worthy enough for a full discography listen.
Russian Rodent - plenka.
Few artists have the AMAZING consistency plenka has.
His tracks are nostalgic cinematic experiences, filled with PEAK melodies and a signature sound that leaves you craving for more.
It’s also one of those Eastern European artists with the biggest work ethic I’ve seen. He’s produced in multiple genres and every release is a great listen.
Today’s pick is Bones. (Which was a very hard selection.)
This came earlier in the year, and it STILL hits as hard as it did on day 1.
The rhythm, melody, and clean sound design make it one of the best releases of 2024.
This song will fill you with the energy necessary to get through the week. The melody is an instant earworm which I’ve fallen victim to again as I write this.
And yes, you have to check out the entire discography. There is a lot of gold in it. Enough to feed a good-music-starved soul for months.
