Last week, I was flying back when the airplane speaker came on.

“If there are any doctors aboard, please come to row 25. We have someone with an emergency.”

I thought it was something that only happened in movies.

Now frankly, I’m flying on Frontier (Bottom of the barrel in budget airlines), so the expectations of a doctor being onboard are low.

Then, the lady in the 2 seats to my left gets up.

(Talk about getting decades of ignorance corrected in the lapse of 3 minutes)

10 minutes later and the airplane speakers come on again.

“Crew prepare for landing.”

I hope she got enough time to come back because it seems the pilots ain’t stopping for the emergency.

And it seems she got the message because shortly after she comes back and takes a seat.

“This has never happened before” she tells the hostage in the middle seat. “It felt like a movie scene.”

Alright so maybe it IS a rare thing that only happens in movies.

And now I’m putting on my pilot cap and calling for any designer on board to come to the back of The Dumpster, as we have a design emergency.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been surviving on the crude abominations I duct tape together in Canva (which they thought was so bad they banned my account).

Frankly it’s not good. I have many fun ideas that I don’t have the time or creativity to bring to life.
