RunThis & Electric Dad - confuse urself

This is from British Creature RunThis. There’s no other way to explain it then the brit version of Knock2.

I don’t think the genre has an official name so lets stick with that ey?

Regardless, this is not to say it’s a clone. There’s all of the fun and energy you can expect from a track like this.

It’s also one of those perfect summer tracks that’s good to play while the days are long and the heat is killer.

Highly recommended for bass house enjoyers. If you’ve struggled finding some knock2 adjecent tracks this will make you feel right at home.

💭 Quick Drivel

After a crazy flurry of non-stop days it was time to finally rest and take it easy.

…Is what I would say if I was sensible and cared for my health.

Which is not true because in a lengendary brainwave I thought.

“Just how FAR can I push this trip?”

Unfortunately, a nerf Tokyo has is that it’s

TOO DAMN BIG.

Which meant spending half the day running around chasing buses, trains, and as usual, getting lost because…

Regardless, was still able to squeeze a bunch out of the day. Despite the ATROCIOUS weather I had been warned about.

In today’s itinerary:

This place is HUGE. The main temple is stunning. The amonut of details and craftsmanship that went into it is impressive.

Especially since it’s been rebuilt a cool

Which is something you’ll hear more of when we get to the next city destination.

Regardless, writing this makes me realize I didn’t take a SINGLE good picture of the place.

Took a lot of videos exploring the whole thing but no actual still pictures.

So uh… here’s something from a video?

This is one of those that everyone recommends.

And for good reason. These are INCREDIBLE.

The only thing I’ll say is that they need better music in a lot of the exhibitions.

I don’t want to spoil the whole place (in case you end up going, which highly recommend going)

They also make you take your dogs out and walk barefoot for a good amount of time.

Which sounds fun…

Until all the blisters come to life.

They also have this lake place with a bunch of light fish swimming around.

Wanted to try the forbidden waters but then I realized that it would force me to stop and rest at a hospital so I decided against it.

Overall a 10/10 experience. The hype is real for this one.

So here’s another quirk about this trip that I may have forgotten to mention.

I have to review the McDonalds for EVERY country I visit.

Call it the McPilgrimage to keep my American citizenship alive.

And well…

How’s this for the first and only meal of the day!

Not gonna bore you with the full detailed scoring of all these, but the overall meal was an 8/10.

Which is miles better than the current 6/10 America has.

Alright, this one is a lot more niche.

It’s one of these miniature museums that are a bunch of massive displays with all sorts of themes.

Of course, nothing in Japan is short of spectacular.

All I can say is that repliating an entire AIRPORT with moving planes and everything is a feat you can only see here.

Or maybe I just haven’t been to enough minature museums…

Regardless, it’s worth the visit.

Almost died on the way getting there by slipping to death on the rain.

As per usual, the goal was to see the sunset…

And becasue I couldn’t find my ticket for 10 minutes I missed it.

Which wouldn’t have mattered as it was STORMING.

Got these cool pictures though.

So not too too bad.

Overall Shibuya Sky gets an 8/10 in the tower score.

Google craps Maps is public enemy #1.

The way it can confiently guide you wrong for a good 10 minutes is impressive.

In any case, just like every other day before it, I ended up getting back at like 1am.

So you know, time to continue the cycle and all.

Honestly, it’s been very complicated to find a consistent stream of these.

It’s almost been a month since we started this one and its added a complexity that results in lower quality.
