Welcome to Sunday Singles!

Every Sunday either Hyperoxia or I will send you a micro-review of a single song.

The preparations for tomorrow are almost complete. So lets go over a bonus song that I recently got obsessed with.

Song Info

Title: Saint Punk - Ghost Blood

Release Date: 9/23/21

Genre: Those cool outro songs on albums

Runtime: 3:42

Artist Lore

Saint Punk is an American’t who specializes in energetic bass house songs.

He has an amazing record of original and remix tracks that are guaranteed to get you dancing.

In good Dumpster fashion, we are talking about a NON bass house song :D.

The Great

The emotions, the melody and the piano.

The song itself is very well written. It’s very simple with only one or two sounds at any given moment.

There is also a lot of emotion in it. I really like his use of the chorus while the piano plays in the background.

He knows how to keep the song fun by adding details to the vocals and the background.

The one gripe with it.

The vocals. To no ones surprise.

Look, the part that leads up to the drop is good. It’s something that kept me addicted.

The rest of the lyrics? Oh my lord. It’s tacky and dare I say cringe. “She’s crazier than batshit” is a line that completely fails to land.

Wrappin it up

Aside from 80% of the lyrics, this song gives a solid “looking at the sunset” vibe and a fantastic close to a decent album.

It’s also a great close to a Sunday review. It can help you get in that “reflective” type of mood. At least it did for me.

In any case, its a song worth your time. Njoy.
