Artist Lore
Moore Kismet is one of the youngest players in the music game, he started when he was 14 and was already getting major releases by 16. As of 2024 he is 19 and his momentum has not stopped.
It’s been a very interesting journey to follow. He found his unique sound making multiple genres while sticking to his dubstep roots.
The Great
Start to finish it doesn’t stop, one catchy beat after the other. The song feels longer (in a good way) than it really is.
That’s because he fit 3 unique drops in the song, so when you think it’s over, you immediately get thrown into a new drop.
The sound design is ON POINT, every sound is engineered to fit while keeping up with everything in the background.
But the biggest winner for me on this song is that phenomenal midsection/2nd drop. That 30-40 second stretch is phenomenal. It’s worth listening to the song just for that.
The Meh
The third drop is a HUGE disconnect. it becomes a whole other song and ruins the tempo it built up to that point.
It’s a new trend in the dubstep scene and imo sounds like the tiktok equivalent of a subway surfers video in the corner to keep attention.
Conclusion
Short song that feels long. Everything is great until the end, where unless you love bass-in-your-face dubstep, it’s going to break all the great things it built so far.
Similar to it
Not nearly as fun but a testament to Moore’s unique sound. Highly recommended if you enjoy a good beat.
