Sunday Single #7

Song #3

Welcome to Sunday Singles!

Every Sunday either Hyperoxia or I will send you a micro-review of a single song.

As you and I continue down the Feed Me’s Artist Showcase, today’s song may come off as odd, but this is one of the most enjoyable songs Feed Me has ever made. It stands strong against a lot of modern releases despite being made 12 years ago, lol

Song Info

Title: Feed Me - Love is all I got

Release Date: 10/26/2012

Genre: Electro House

Runtime: 3:05

Artist Lore

Feed Me is a British creature artist and one of the few who still make Electro House. He has one of the most unique sounds and worlds in the scene and to this day it still sounds as fresh as it did in the beginning.

The Great

The melody. Something that made electro house great was the mix of melody and heavy bass. It worked very well when done right, and this is a case of done right.

The drop is a great example of this.

The sound is also phenomenal. That was the sound you found exclusively from 2012 to 2014. Now, it’s a relic.

The Meh

The lyrics. I don’t mind them, but everyone sounds so… turned off. I don’t know what it is, but it just gives the impression that “tired” is all they have.

The song also ends incredibly fast which is a shame, lol

Conclusion

Love for this song is all I got despite the vocals. Overall an enjoyable song that goes well for road trips or when looking for a boost of emotions.

Similar to it

Equally addictive, Last Request emphasizes more on the actual melody than anything else. The vocals are stronger and give a euphoric feeling. Highly recommended.
