Yes, Throwing Snow is yet another British Creature who makes downright weird but amazing tracks.

I for one welcome the British Creature overlords, who seem to have overtaken the majority of Sunday Singles picks.

That aside, his songs are audible cinematic experiences.

Each song of his feels like a scene in a movie, full of depth, complexity, and good friggin sound.

The Great

The sounds and melody are gorgeous and kind of hypnotizing at the same time. It gives the feeling of walking through a forest, admiring nature's simple yet complex patterns.

From the start, the heavy synths take center stage, followed by the tribal-style drums. The song genuinely feels alive—a very weird phenomenon.

Start to finish, the simple synth, drum, and weird voices in the back pattern deliver a gorgeous experience.

The production quality is off the charts (as British creatures seem to do) and all the sounds have this freshness to them.

The Meh

I don’t really have one this time, they threw it out of the park on this one.

The “meh” would come from the rest of the album which while good, had some songs that were too symphonically weird for the already distorted taste.

Conclusion

It’s a gorgeous song, and you can’t go wrong listening to it while taking a walk in the park or just rotting in bed while looking out the window.

This song is really good for admiring what’s in front of you. I’ve spaced out while writing this because the song keeps grabbing me back into its grasp. It’s really well made.

Similar to it

Its more uplifting and inspiring counterpart from the same album. This one has more of a “date with a significant other” vibe to it. Another fantastic production.
