This is something I've been talking about for months now.
Music is a nectar of life (alongside drunk driving and crack, lol).
It's always in the background. It decorates life in all its ups and downs.
There's music that lifts you up and makes you strong. There's music that takes you to the depths of despair and pulls you out at the same time.
Above all, there's music that makes you feel happy, sad, energized, calm, safe, understood, and focused.
And all of those songs come together to build what I've called a “Life Playlist"
It was an abstract thing that didn't have any value aside from a label.
That changes today.
Being in the self-improvement space, I've found journals for everything.
Habits
Gratefulness
Work
Bulleting
Throwing shit at the wall (maybe not this one)
Etc
But there wasn't one that captured and cataloged the songs that make your life
(at least one that I could find. If you know of one reply back and let me know lol)
So after another sleep deprived night visit from the Christmas Spirit I created…
The Life Playlist. (Name in progress ™️)
It's not a physical thing (YET). But it's a digital filing system you can use to well...
Create and curate your Life Playlist in a more tangible way than mindlessly adding it to a playlist.
Sure, you can make playlists, but there are certain things you can only remember with text. (Does this song REALLY need to remind me of my ex?)
It's nothing fancy. But I've been using it for the last couple of days as a beta tester, and wow.
It brought back and created so many memories that it put into perspective just how much impact music has.
Full disclosure: it's not sexy, it's not plug-and-play, it's not this long 5-step process…
It's just some questions and a place to categorize it.
If that sounds too boring or dumb, make your own filing system.

This is version 1. If it ever becomes simpler or better it'll be updated. And if you want to slack on getting it - don’t. It’s a gift for you because it’s Christmas but this will become a paid product in 2025.

I admit I had a very tough time picking it.
Being Christmas i wanted to send you nothing short of Liquid Gold.
So I dug deep into the archives of things that couldn't get sent this year and found this absolute gem for you.
This is another one of those artists who show up. Produce absolute gold back to back. And then proceed to disappear.
I’d like to introduce you to French Freak - TchakØ.
He produced some of the best house I’ve heard.
It’s emotional, melodic, and it throws you into a state of trance.
This was one of my carries through the pandemic. It’s a shame he left but his current discography is amazing.
I recommend everyone give it a listen, if house isn’t your thing.
