🍱 Delicacy of the Day
Dirty Dutch duo Tinlicker has been around for a long time.
I've seen them here and there throughout my listening years. Mostly in the progressive house genre.
They have this incredible knack for melodies that get stuck in your head without going crazy on the songs.
This simplicity makes every track an easy experience to enjoy. Their older songs have also aged incredibly well.
This one is no different. It follows a tried-and-tested formula: an addictive melody with great chords and “breathing space” in between to drive the melody's impact.
It’s the best song on the album (in my opinion) and has the perfect mix of “old sound” with “modern production”.
This should scratch that itch if you’ve been itching for a good progressive house track,

💭 Quick Drivel
It could be me, but it’s been hard to find 5 good front-to-back albums this year.
And it’s not because I haven't tried. I've heard about 40 albums from artists big and small (I try to do one every fridee).
So far there's only 1, and the year is almost over!
Last year there were so many it was genuinely hard to make a “best of list”
Now I’m not talking about the albums that have like three great songs in them and the rest are like meh.
I’m talking about albums that deliver back-to-back songs where every song stands on its own. Maybe there’s like 1-2 songs that don’t hit the mark but the rest is just bliss.
So I'm wondering, what's been your favorite album released this year?
