Most artists and people are unfortunately too scared to put themselves out there in fear of rejection or “being annoying.” But here’s a PSA to you and any artists reading:
You are your first and (in many cases) only fan. No one is going to do it for you. GET. OUT. THERE.
Seriously. You have something worthwhile and special about you, so SPEAK ABOUT IT AND GET RECOGNIZED.
Will you get rejected? Yeah, not everyone will be into you, and that’s okay.
Many people have unsubscribed and said “Nah, no thanks” when invited to sign up, and that’s OKAY.
You can’t and won’t appease everyone. Rejection stings, but the moment you get that “yes” will outweigh the feelings of rejection.
If you want to get started, actions are the best way to do it. For example, Mr Travis sent in a song, and now you’re hearing about it.
Action + Volume = Result.

Back to the song.
I won’t butcher the explanation for this song. Here’ what Travis said about it:
“I'm excited to announce the release of my new single, "Kiss Me."
The track is a blend of minimal dark techno and electro house. It has a catchy rhythm and modern flair. The creative process behind this song was to infuse a highly energetic beat with dark, risqué, and fun lyrics, backed by a pumping techno beat.”
Now look, when I read “electro house” I was already sold.
And after giving it a couple good listens, it’s a great song!
But. (And I say this with love)
Minimal electro-house is NOT accurate because it lacks the signature saw sound or contrasting drums that 90% of electro-house tracks have.
That doesn’t take away from the song. It’s a great listen and you should listen to it.
The sound is clean and it even got stuck in my head for a good portion of the day. A lot of effort went into the song and it shows sounds.
Genre classification is important to me because IT MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO FIND SIMILAR SONGS.
So enjoy this special track from a new underground artist and give ‘im the “dumpster welcome” (Name in progress™️) he deserves
