Some dopamine from a rising artist.

Not easy to find.

Welcome to Sunday Singles!

Every Sunday, either Hyperoxia or I will send you a micro-review of a single song.

I don’t know if it’s the weather, but House has been the absolute vibe this week. This one is a rare find from a brand-new faction. (I really gotta make a full list of these, lol)

Song Info

Title: Vintagewave - Dopamine

Release Date: 3/29/24

Genre: House

Runtime: 3:13

Artist Lore

Vintagewave is a Mexican Maniac (Name in progress™️) who specializes in melodic house beats.

Starting in 2021, he already has some big releases under his belt and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Needless to say, you’re early. He seems to be on a fast track to make it big. The new gen is here and has no signs of stopping anytime soon.

The Great

The melody is on point. The sound is the quintessential house synth, and it’s still a good listen.

Vintagewave is a good name since he sticks to the signature vintage sound. The synths are clean and everything sounds .

This isn’t one of those artists who changes or tries to make new things. That’s alright; not everyone has to be a pioneer. Sticking to what works is a good strategy. Sometimes, a good melody and clean sound is all you need.

The one gripe with it.

The only thing that makes this different from what we’ve sent so far is that it doesn’t have that replay value. It tends to get old after some time.

Wrappin it up

It’s good. Nice chill track for the weekend. You can even say it gives… dopamine, lol.

This belongs to that “easy listening” playlist. Maybe even a “beach day” playlist.

Similar to it

Another one from the same EP. Fun melody but a bit too short IMO.
