As we reach yet another Fridee Buffet (The slop don’t stop) there’s something I want to bring light to that many Americant divers are not aware of
And that’s the INSANE release schedule of Eastern European Artists.
Seriously, I’ve been finding more and more of them and 80% of them have a release list so big that it starts lagging my computer.
Most hilarious of all, most of these artists started in 2020 or after and have bigger discographies than most decade old artists.
I only wish to have a work ethic this strong lmao.
My headcanon is that they release a lot of songs “as is” while embracing the “volume negates luck” mantra.
This principle can be applied to any area you want to improve. If it works for music, it can work for you.
Now the important question is: Are the songs good?
Yeah, most of the cool sounding songs are, lol. But it genuinely is a casino where you either get the best song you’ve heard or genuine noise with cool sound effects on top of it.
But of course, as a Diver you are guaranteed to only get the good sounding ones.
Today’s chune is by V.I.P.N, an absolute powerhouse of witch house, phonk, and other adjacent Eastern European genres.
As I’ve been obsessed with fast, melodic house, I bring you something similar today: Drift Phonk.
Alongside the signature cowbell sound on top a fast melody, it has a “bass padding” that premeates the song and keeps it punchy. This is for all you “Bass Head” Diver.
And hey, if you like good deals, this is a two-in-one song. It starts fast and slows down for the second drop. The best part? It never loses that magic touch.
It’s a good song if you want to feel nostalgic or send it to an ex as a passive aggressive comment.
