This morning, I did the October financial audit while at the wage cage.
Since the month went so fast, I can’t remember anything. But seeing the purchases made it all come back... Shudder
Mugney has to be in the top 3 complaints for people.
And it's not a surprise. The world makes it so easy to spend that it’s normal for 80% of people to have a hole in their wallet.
Now this is not financial advice...
Nor is this a “Financial Newsletter” (and will NEVER be, gosh no)…
But since the beginning of the year, every first of the month has been "Finance audit day."
In it I list down every single income and expense to the penny.
And break down in tears when I see the amounts.
Then it gets added counted, tagged and calculated in the end.
Is it extreme? Depends on how much you spend, lol.
You can't optimize what you don't track, and tracking money is a useful skill.
If you were to give it a try due to independent realizations, wink wink, you'd find some cool—and depressing—insights.
But trust me, once it's done, a huge, impulse purchase-shaped hulk will stare back at you.
And with how expensive everything has gotten, it's become an insightful price tracker.

P.S. We’ve had many people say that daily emails are too much for them.
